I received the product, cooked it as I normally do, and there was something different about the Daiya cheese. It was very grainy and not good at all. Being winter, I believe the packages may have frozen during shipping, and spoiled the cheese packages. I hope I can get a refund and I'll update the review if I do. Otherwise, don't order these in the winter months. Which is why I love this stuff, the sauce is already prepared and comes in a nice, handy package. Yes, there is a lot of cheese sauce but I find that once you heat it up, it ends up being the perfect amount.
When I make this for my husband I make some caramelized onions and garlic, throw in a dash of hot sauce prior to adding in the cheese sauce. If I have the time, I mix some panko breadcrumbs on top with some vegan margarine and broil it.
Really levels up the flavor and makes it more of a meal.
